Our take
As a refurb, the Acer Nitro ED340CUR X is a gamble, but the specs are tempting. The 34-inch 1500R curve wraps nicely, and 200Hz on VA gives smooth motion. HDMI 2.1 is a plus for console users, supporting higher refresh rates. The 300-nit brightness is adequate, and dynamic contrast is listed at 100M:1, which is marketing fluff. Out of the box, my unit had no dead pixels, but some backlight bleed. Built-in speakers are weak. For $212, it's a great price for an ultrawide 200Hz, but factor in potential refurb quirks.
