Our take
I was intrigued by the Z-EDGE UG27S for its 300Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time at just $139.99. The 27-inch curved VA panel with 4000:1 contrast ratio delivers rich blacks, which is great for dark games. The slim bezels and tiltable stand are nice touches. However, the brightness of 280 cd/m² is on the lower side, so it may not be ideal for bright rooms. Also, the resolution is only 1080p, which on a 27-inch screen means lower pixel density. Still, for fast-paced gaming on a budget, this monitor offers solid value.
